Calculus is a major basic conJse for a college of technology of higher learning and the
foundation and t001 for students to learn the specialized coarses.The traditional method of
teaching calculus is basically one of imparting knowledge,ignoring the actual background where
a concept derives and the practical application of a method.Therefore.it is difncult to 1earn
calculus for the students who entered colleges of technology of higher learning because of their

mathematics,the fact that the lack in the old knowledge related to the new knowledge in the
mathematical cognitive structure will,fi-om the angle of the study of mathematics,affect their
memory,comprehension and thinking,resulting in the difficulty in study.Starting from
mathematics teaching,me follow·up education will lose its effect because ofthe lack in the store
