ABSTRACT
The final 20al of establi shing a mature socialist market economic
system in China is to perfect the
market structure，optimize all kinds of
resources distributions and to fully exert the superiority of sociali sm，
while an equally mature financial market precedes
it．In China，the three
out o f the four spheres in finance(banking， stock and insurance)have
aIready made great progress．Fund business，as
another important field，
however， far from exerts its due influence on the construction of
financial system．Given the sophisticated experience abroad，open。end
fund plays an increasingly important role
in the development of
economy，as a driving force for the continual reforms
in the financial
market and an effective aspect in people’S economic life．Therefore，it
is
imperative to promote the open—end fund business unconventionally
and
creatively．
From the perspective of its basic concepts and
theories，the essay
illustrate s the characteristics and advantages of open—end fund．Through
its development and latest trend abroad，the essay analyses
the urgency
and positive effects of promoting the open-end
fund business in China，
likely problems and countermeasures afterwards．
The essay consists of four chapters：
(1)A brief analysis of the basic concepts，theories， advantage s
and reforms of the open—end fund．
(2)A brief introduction of the development of open—end fund
business in some country and regions and the enlightenment our country
may draw from its latest trend．
