Basic Module Book 1 授课类型 Listening and Speaking Dialogue B 课时 1 period Analysis of Ss Advantages: Having clear career path based on their major, Ss have passion to learn practical English which is related to pharmacist, their future job. As 15 years old teenagers, they are good at teamwork and feel interested in the communicative teaching method, such as guess game and role play. Disadvantages: The students of Grade One, pharmacy have learned English for three years in junior school and they have built up a certain foundations, but most of them still have low mastery of basic English skills. And they have the common weakness—poor in listening and speaking. 40 Ss were grouped according to vocabulary them obtained: A tier around 800 words accounted for 15%; B tier around 500 words for 70% and C tier around 300 words for 15%. 教材内容 This book aims at improving Ss’ English, cultivating their self-confidence and professional ambitions, and also teaching them the methods of learning English. Basic Module Book 1 contains 10 units which are close related to our daily life. Unit 2 is about “Interview”. This lesson is the second period. It is about discussing about personal ability in interview with the expression “I can”. 教学目的及要求 1. Teaching objectives in knowledge: ① To master some words and functional sentences that relate to interviewee’s professional ability, such as “I can…” “Compound a medicine” “pharmacist”. ② To know the structure of interview. 2. Teaching objectives in skills: ①After learning, ABC tier students can talk about their professional ability. ②After practicing, BC tier students can interact with interviewer. ③A tier students can conduct an interview fluently, acting either interviewers or interviewees. 3.
