Using indefinite pronouns/adverbs 当说话人表示请求，建议或反对等，带有肯定意图时，不管句子形式如何都可用some系列词。 eg. Why don’t you read something interesting? 　你为什么不看一些有趣的东西？ Would you like something to drink? 要喝点什么？ Is there something to eat? 有什么东西吃吗？ Is there anything to eat? （I am hungry, Do you have any…?） 你没有什么东西吃？ 当anyone, anybody表“任何人”，anything表“任何事”的含义时，也可用于肯定句。 eg. Anyone / Anybody can do it. 任何人都可做这件事。 He is cleverer than anyone else in his class. 在班上他比任何别人都聪明。 2. The verb take and bring take 和bring的区别：take指从这里拿起、拿走，即把某人或某物从说话人处带到别处，包含有away的含义。 eg. Could you help me to take the box to the classroom? 你能帮我将这个盒子拿到教室吗？ I’ll take you to see our teacher. 我将带你去见老师。 It’s going to rain, please take an umbrella with you. 要下雨了，请随身带把伞。 bring指从别处拿到这里来，或指拿到说话人和听话人都要去的地方。 eg. Bring me a cup of tea, please. 请给我拿杯茶。 Please bring the CD to school tomorrow. 请明天把那张CD带到学校。 2. 表“携带，运送”之意的词还有get和 carry。 get意为“拿，取”，是指从说话人所在地出发，到达别处后，把某人某物带回原处，表示的动作是一个来回。 eg. Please get a doctor at once. Bill is having a high fever. 请立刻请医生来，比尔正发高烧。 carry 表车、船、牛、马等载人或物，也可表人用手提，用肩扛，用背背。强调动作的 移动性，不强调方向性。 eg. Let me help you carry the heavy box.! 让我帮你搬那个重盒子吧！ 3. 句型“Shall I /we…？”意思是“要我／我们…吗？”，“我／我们要不要…？”。情态动词shall用于第一人称疑问句表示征求对方意见或向对方提出建议。例如： Shall I get you some more tea? 要不要我给你加点茶？ Shall I turn on the light? 要不要开灯？ Shall I go instead of you?（=Shall I go for you?）我替你去好吗？ Shall we go for a walk?（=Let’s go for a walk, shall we?）我们去散散步好吗？ Shall we go to see a film? 我们去看电影好吗？ Shall we go to our lesson? 我们开始上课好吗？ 4. We are alone here. We’re all by ourselves. 我们独自在这儿，孤独无助。 all by oneself=alone 表示“独立地，单独地”，相当于alone，在句子中做状语。 Can you do it all by yourself ??? 你能独立做这件事吗？ He learned English all by himself. 他是自学的英语。? 5. The picnic basket was no longer under the tree. 野餐篮子已经不在树下了。 no longer = not ... any longer /
