* * Alarms and warning behaviour is dictated by chart format ENC: This image shows a vessel proceeding against the route. Navmaster maintains a running list of chart warnings active for a specified time from the vessel’s current position, in this case 18 minutes, and within a guard zone (outlined in the image around the ship’s vector )ahead of the vessel. Active warnings are shown in the side panel. At the top is a safety contour warning, which has generated an alarm (the contour lies between the two buoys about 15 minutes away). Any chart object causing the warning can be highlighted as shown here, where the precautionary area (anchoring prohibited) is hatched.
