Parent involvement and communication is another key element of NCLB. With NCLB, the report card will offer more information than ever before on the status of our public schools at every level. A special Web site, , will offer access to school, district and state report cards. Title I school parents have extensive rights to notification, information and involvement opportunities. The individual school report cards include contact information; school and class/course sizes; ABCs designation; student promotions in gateway grades; statistics on numbers of books and computers, and school safety figures. Local, district, and state report cards will have aggregated achievement information on state assessments in math and reading and information on state indicators used to determine Adequate Yearly Progress.
