As the main branch of notes, messages are left for somebody to do something or for something to be done. Compared with letters or emails, messages are written in a more simple and casual way. Step2 Presentation We often need to write messages for various purposes. Messages are frequently used between family members, relatives, friends and acquaintances. Therefore, they are simpler in form and more informal in language. You are supposed to tell clearly what you expect others to know or to do. Clarity and conciseness are very important qualities for messages. Before moving on, answer the following questions to make sure that you know about writing messages: 1. How is writing a message different from writing a letter? 2.What information should be included in a message? Questions for discussion: Messages are written for various purposes.
