Ⅰ.Pre-task:
Warming-up: Tuning In
1. Teacher show the picture, then ask the following questions
a. What place is it?
b. What do people usually do there?
c. Have you ever been there?
d. What did you see there?
e. How did you like it?
2. Teach the new words and expressions in the pictures ( exhibition, treasure, calligraphy, hit, dynasty, priceless, )
3. Ask and answer the following questions in pairs, using the words and expressions just learned as many as possible
a. What building is it?
b. What exhibition is on there?
c. What can people see there?
Ⅱ.While-task:
1. look at the picture , then answer these questions
① Where are Tina and Wang Qiang?
② What are they taking about?
4. listen to the record one more time and check whether the students have understood the text.
a. Where is the exhibition held?
b. What kind of national treasures can we see?
c. Wang Qiang has got the tickets , hasn’t he?
d. When did he book the tickets?
e. Why are they going there tomorrow?
f. When does the museum open?
g. Where will they meet?
