Structural Osteopathy Sacrum Bone; The normalization of the pelvic girdle to the osteopath is a key step in its therapeutic approach. This is due to the fact that the basin has a predominant role in all fields of osteopathy: - Muscular and articolar: through L5 and iliac - Craniosacral: by insertion of the dura mater at the level of S2 - With the visceral system: through the sacrum-recto-genito-bladder-pubic laminae (foil) - With the ortho and parasympathetic autonomic nervous system. When osteopath fiexs the sacrum, treats all these levels at the same time.;ANATOMY ;The sacrum is a single bone resulting from the merger of five primitive segments (sacral vertebrae), which follows the lumbar segment of the spine; with the coccyx and the two hip bones (iliac) forms the basin. The sacreum has the shape of a quadrangular pyramid with the base at the top and bottom apex.;Sacrum is considered a front face, a back, two sides, a base (top) and a peak (bottom). The front face is concave and turns in forward and down; presents, in its middle part, four lines indicate that the transverse welding (synostosis) between the bodies of the five primitives sacral vertebrae. On the side of synostosis are four pairs of anterior sacral holes, driving to the sacral canal and let the anterior branches of the sacral spinal nerves pass through. The anterior sacral holes are formed by the fusion of bony parts corresponding to the rib processes of the lumbar vertebrae; they are followed by a canal in which nerves run. ;The back is convex and bumpy; on the median line presents the average sacral crest that comes from the fusion of the spinous processes of the primitive sacral vertebrae. On the side of the middle sacral crest are two canals formed by the merger of the primitive vertebral laminae (foils). In the last sacral segments, however, lacks the laminar portion of the vertebrae, so that the medium sacral crest and the two canals on the side are not present; the sacral canal is so ope
