Methods The HPLC method was adopted for the determination. Danshensu and Protocatechuic Aldehyde were used as the standard. Detection wave length was set at 280 nm, the mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.5% HAc (30:70). Results The linear range of Danshensu was 0.421 ~ 3.364 μg and Protocatechuic Aldehyde was 0.212 ~ 1.699 μg. The average recovery rate of Danshensu was 100.05% with RSD of 3.07% and Protocatechuic Aldehyde was 99.39% with RSD of 1.62%. Conclusion This method is accurate, specific and reliable for the quality control of Huoxue capsule.
