Results Histological examination revealed glomerular volume increased in model group, sparse, varying degrees of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis tubular lumen to expand the kitchen shaped tubular atrophy, interstitial fibrosis; treatment changes in renal tissue compared with model group, eased. semiquantitative immunohistochemical analysis showed that the treatment group CTGF, PAI-1 levels compared with model group was significantly lower (P lt;0.05). Conclusion Losartan inhibits CTGF, PAI-1 expression and inhibit the accumulation of extracellular matrix to reduce the renal interstitial fibrosis, and thus reduce the aging, play renal protective effects.
