Methods 41 patients with severe soft tissue injury emergency leg fractures were combined negative external fixator pressure closed drainage. including 8 cases with large skin and soft tissue avulsion of thinning the skin wound replanted to VSD patients with soft tissue coverage of wounds .24 concomitant VSD cover the wound .9 those cases of compartment syndrome by incision has also covered the same period in VSD. Results 7 to 10 days to remove VSD, 8 cases of stage replantation of thinning of the skin most of the survival of .24 cases with soft tissue wounds were no purulent discharge, 9 patients with bone tendon syndrome, limb blood flow by film room well, of tissue flaps and skin graft all survived. followed up for 6 months to 2 years, were removed in all cases external fixation, fracture healing, no osteomyelitis, nonunion occurred. Conclusion The external fixator combined vacuum sealing drainage for common soft tissue injury with severe leg fractures have good therapeutic effect, can handle the emergency period fractures and soft tissue damage.
