Methods 35 adult New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups. The first group of 5, removal of medial meniscus, meniscus made of missing model, as the control was observed after removal of meniscus cartilage injuries. The second group of 15, as a meniscus transplant receptors, the third group 15, as a donor meniscus were cut after the death. The results of meniscus transplantation organizational survival, and can prevent the knee joint degeneration. Conclusion Fresh meniscal allograft transplantation can be survived, and in the course of a long-term follow-up with normal structure and function to prevent the knee joint degeneration. Methods 35 adult New Zealand white rabbits were divided into three groups: after meniscectomy, grouop A (5 rabbits) were made to model of meniscus mishap to observe cartilage lesion; group B (15 rabbits) undertook fresh meniscus allograft transplantation; after meniscectomy, group C (15 rabbits) were killed. Results The tissues of fresh meniscus allografts survived and prevented the degenerative changs of the knee joint.
