Hyperbaric oxygen treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 7 Hyperbaric oxygen treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy [Abstract] Objective To investigate the hyperbaric oxygen treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE effect. Methods 40 cases of HIE were randomly divided into two groups, control group conventional treatment methods (including oxygen, only spasm, dehydration and use of intracranial pressure lowering agent therapy activates brain cell metabolism. the treatment group were based on the uplink of hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment. rapid recovery of the disease the treatment group, significantly better than the control group. Conclusion hyperbaric oxygen treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy sure, safe and reliable. [Key Words] high-pressure oxygen, newborn, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy [Abstract] Objective To investigate the effect of treating HIE of newborns comprehensively by using HBO.Methods 40 babies dignosed with HIE were divided into 2 groups randomly. The control group carried out routine treating methods (including the treatment of oxygen-breathing, convulsion- stopping, dehydration intracranial pressure drop and using brain cell metabolism activator, etc.). The treating group carried out HBO treatment on the base of regular treatment. Results The patients of treating group recovered quickly, whose effect was superior to the control group. Conclusion The effect of treating HIE of newborns by using HBO is safe, reliable and definite.
