Impaired glucose tolerance and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes of insulin secretion

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 15 Impaired glucose tolerance and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes of insulin secretion Of: Yuanguo Yue, Zhou Libin Chen Ming Tao [Abstract] Objective: Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT), newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes 1-phase insulin secretion. Methods: 28 cases of normal healthy people, IGT 31 patients, newly diagnosed 31 patients with type 2 diabetes , underwent 75 g oral glucose tolerance test and reduce the number of samples combined with Bergman minimal model intravenous glucose tolerance test (FSIGTT), respectively islet cell function index (HBCI), I30/G30 and acute insulin response (AIR) Assessment of islet -cell function, AIR reduce the number of samples with Bergman minimal model combined with FSIGTT detection; simultaneous determination of body mass index subjects (BMI) and waist to hip ratio (WHR), fasting state, blood lipids, glucose, insulin, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and other biochemical indicators. Results: (1) type 2 diabetes group AIR [27.4 (-2.5 ~ 76.5) mU / L] was significantly lower than the normal group (270.5 + -128.3) mU / L and IGT group (213.3 + -154.4) mU / L (P lt;0.01), the normal group and the IGT was no significant difference between groups. (2) type 2 diabetes group I30/G30 (1.1 + -0.6), HBCI (3.8 + -1.0) were significantly lower in the normal group (2.7 + -0.9,4.2 + -1.0) and the IGT group (2.5 + -1.0,4.9 + -1.7) (P lt;0.01), then between the two groups I30/G30, HBCI no significant differences. (3) AIR and I30/G30, HBCI, insulin, BMI was positively correlated (P lt;0.05 ~ P lt;0.01), and blood glucose, age, HbA1c, insulin sensitivity index (SI) was significantly negatively correlated (P lt;0.05 ~ P lt;0.01). After adjusting for age, BMI, after, and I30/G30, HBCI, insulin (30,60,120,180 min) was still significantly correlated with blood glucose at each time point, HbA1c was negatively correlated. (4) AIR as the dependent variable , other variables as independent variables for multiple regression,
