Methods mirtazapine amitriptyline in treatment of 30 cases of depression, with Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) were assessed and compared the clinical efficacy. Results of mirtazapine and amitriptyline in the treatment HAMD, HAMA scores decreased significantly between the two groups by points, the difference was not significant mirtazapine side effects were significantly less than amitriptyline. Conclusions of mirtazapine and amitriptyline in the treatment of depression quite effective, the former minor adverse reactions, it is worth promoting. Methods 60 cases with depression were divided into 2 groups: mirtazapine group and amitriptyline group, 30 cases in each; HAMD Scale and HAMA Scale were applied in evaluation and curative effect comparison. Results The scores of HAMD and HAMA in both groups decreased significantly with no obvious difference while the occurrence of side effect in mirtazapine group was much lower than that in amitriptyline group. Conclusions Mirtazapine and amitriptyline have the same effect in treating depression ; mirtazapine cuases slight side effect and is worthy of wide application.
