Icariin as an indicator method, using high performance liquid chromatography HPLC Epimedium , Determination of total flavonoids. the result leaves the content of icariin 0.197% ~ 0.347% in the range of icariin content in stem 0.043% ~ 0.050% in the range of leaf flavonoids content of 6.68% ~ 8.85% in the range of total flavonoids in the stem in 1.3% to 2.7% range. icariin in 0.3 ~ 1.8 μg (r = 0.999 9) and 0.5 ~ 3 μg / mL (r = 0.999 9) a good linear relationship. icariin, the average recovery was 99.43% (n = 6, RSD = 0.29%), total flavonoids was 100.38% (n = 9, RSD = 1.60%). Conclusion Liaoning Korean Epimedium different regions of different active ingredient content, different medicinal parts of the content of total flavonoids and icariin quite different leaves of total flavonoids and icariin much higher than the stem. Methods Icariin was used as the chemical reference substance to establish HPLC and ultraviolet spectrophotometry methods for content determination of icariin and total flavonoids. Results The content of icariin in leaves was from 0.197% to 0.347%, and in stem was from 0.043% to 0.050%. The content of total flavonids in leaves was from 6.68% to 8.85%, and in stem was from 1.3 % to 2.7%.
