Methods: Review and analyze clinical materials of 18 pathologically confirmed patients suffering from breast cystosarcoma phyllodes. Results: Breast cystosarcoma phyllodes occurs mainly in the population inbetween 10-year- old and 40-year-old and it has been characterized as the onset of painless breast mass. Not even one definite diagnosis could be made for all 18 patients until after surgical operation. Among the 18 patients, 13 underwent extended resection, another 3 underwent modified mastectomy, and the remaining 2 accepted simple mastectomy. The overall prognosis is good with local recurrence rate at 11.1% (2 / 18). Conclusion: Auxiliary examination is not of much help towards the conclusive diagnosis of breast cystosarcoma phyllodes, which has to rely on pathological examination. Extended resection is the major method for the treatment of breast cystosarcoma phyllodes and secondar
