[Methods] Phyllanthus herbs, with 50% ethanol extract, ethyl acetate extraction, microporous membrane extract had following the introduction of LC / MS Separation and Identification of the various components. [Results] Phyllanthus is rutoside polyphenol, Phyllanthus element and ellagic acid-based compounds, free of gallic acid content in very little. [Conclusion] gallic acid alone, quality indicators for the unreasonable, but in order to rutin, Phyllanthus element and total ellagic acid as an indicator is more reasonable. [Result] The polyphenols mainly consisted of rutin, phyllansusiin, ellagic acid, etc, but less free gallic acid. [Conclusion] The total content of these compounds should be used for qualitative control instead of gallic acid.
