Sepsis results of 15 cases treated PA patients were significantly decreased; but obvious decline in T cell subsets, immunoglobulin of complement C3, complement C4 has dropped, the remaining decrease was not obvious. Conclusion Detection of serum PA in patients with Sepsis may predict the severity of disease, as well as sensitive indicators of mortality. Keywords: Sepsis; pre-albumin; immune function change of prealbumin with sepsis and it’s clinical significance 【Abstract】 Objective To explore the change of prealbumin concentrationsduring sepsis in the intensive care unit of The First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University, and to analyse the relationship among prealbumin, illness degree, immune function and the mortality rate.Methods Total Parenteral Nutrition therapy were used on all the sepsis patients.To observe the change of prealbumin, T-lymphocyte, Nk cell, HLA-DR, immune globulin and the prognosis before the TPN and after the TPN separatly.And to analysie these data.Results A marked decrease in prealbumin was observed at all sepsis patients, most Immune function index fluctuated within normal range, but complement C3, C4 were decreased.And through the TPN, a marked increase in prealbumin was observed, but other indexes showed no significant changes.Conclusion The results suggested that the prealbumin is the sensitivity index to predict illness degree and the mortality rate of sepsis patient. 【Keywords:】 sepsis; prealbumin; immune function Sepsis has become a severe medicine’s primary,
