The linear range of the three, respectively: 3.3125 ~ 106μ g/ml; 0.735 7 ~ 23.541 9μ g/ml; 1.966 1 ~ 62.916 4μ g/ml. Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and a good separation, high sensitivity can be used for quality control of monkshood. Methods (4.6mm * 250mm, 5μ m) column by isocratic elution using Acetonitrile -0.2% Glacial acetic acid (adjusted to pH 7.29 with concentrated ammonia). ResultsThe average recovery of the three alkaloids were analyzed simultaneously with UltimateTM XB-C18 rates obtained were in the range of 98.93-100.5% for RSD below 2.0%. The linear ranges of aconitine; hypaconitine; mesaconitine were respectively 3.312 5 ~ 106 μ g / ml, 0.7357 ~ 23.5419 μ g / ml, 1.9661 ~ 62.9164μ g/ml (r = 0.999 9, r = 0.999 8, r = 0.999 7). ConclusionThe contents of alkaloids in aconite root varied significantly from species; hence quality control of aconite root is very necessary.
