School-based curriculum development in the context of Curriculum Leadership: Theory and Strategy
Abstract: The curriculum leadership as a new management philosophy, intended to break through the limitations of traditional course management, emphasizing cooperation and communication, democracy and open to the idea of school-based curriculum basically the same. Through the concept and practice of two levels of innovation, the creation of operational mechanisms for the curriculum leadership to promote school-based curriculum and the whole curriculum development.

Abstract: As a new idea of management, the curriculum leadership aims to break through the limitation of traditional management. It emphasizes cooperation and communication as well as democracy and openness, which is consistent with the idea of the school-based curriculum. The innovation of the ideas and practice helps to create the working system for curriculum leadership and promote the development of the school-based curriculum and the whole curriculum system as well.

In the course management the use of terms, the United States to use more recent “Curriculum leadership” to replace the traditional “course management.” The alternative to a certain extent, reflects the changes in trends in curriculum management. “Curriculum Leadership” The basic idea for that? “Curriculum Leadership” and “curriculum management,” compared to the new Where?
