However , the application of such provision may easily re- sult in the difficulty in protecting the interests of the third party who acts in good faith and relies on the registration. It can not adapt itself to the development of the newly-emerging transactions such as ship financial leasing. It is therefore suggested that the registration shall be recognized as having public reliance effect and it is more appropriate to adopt registration effective- ness doctrine in China which will be better consistent with the current judicial and shipping practice.
