TheGroundPenetratingRadar(GPR)[1,2]isanestablished androutinemethodfortheinspectionofcivilengineering structures. It can provide high-resolution images of the subsurface, typically from 0 to 10m depth, through wide- band nonsinusoidal electromagnetic waves. The employed frequencies range from 10MHz to 4GHz. This technique is e?ective, rapid, nondestructive and non-invasive.
