Thiscontribution isdevoted totheinvestigation oftheasymptotic behavior ofdelayed di?erence equations with aninteger delay.Weprovethatunder appropriate conditions thereexists atleast onesolution withitsgraphstaying inaprescribed domain. Thisisachieved bytheapplication of amoregeneraltheoremwhichdealswithsystems of?rst-order di?erenceequations. Intheproof ofthistheoremweshowthatagoodwayistoconnecttwotechniques—the so-called retract-type technique and Liapunov-type approach.
