Introduction Serumalbumin,themostabundantproteininthecirculatorysystem,hasbeenoneofthemostexten- sivelystudiedofallproteins[1,2].It’ssynthesizedintheliver,exportedasanon-glycosylatedprotein, andispresentinthebloodataboutto40mg·ml?1[3].It’snotonlythemajortransportproteinunester- i?edfattyacid,butalsocapableofbindinganextraordinarilydiverserangeofmetabolites,drugs,and organiccompounds.Manydrugs,includinganti-coagulants,tranquilizers,andgeneralanaesthetics,are transportedinthebloodwhileboundtoalbumin[4].Thishasstimulatedmuchresearchonthenatureof thedrugbindingsitesandinvestigationofwhetherfattyacids,naturalmetabolites,anddragscompete withoneanotherforbindingtoprotein.Thesestudiesmayprovideinformationofstructuralfeatures, whichdeterminethetherapeuticeffectivenessofdrugs,andbecomeanimportantresearch?ledinlife sciences,chemistry,andclinicalmedicine.Themolecularinteractionsareoftenmonitoredbyusingop- ticaltechniqueswhicharesensitiveandrelativelyeasytouse.ForBSA,althoughdifferentcompounds havebeenprobessuccessfully,suchasdyes[5],drugs[6,7],andmetalcom
