Nitrogen(N)playsanimportantroleinagriculturalproduction.Thisstudywasdesignedtoevaluatethepresenceofcultivable Ncycle-associatedmicroorganisms(nitrogen-?xingbacteria—NFB,proteolyticbacteria—PR,ammoni?ers—AMO,ammonium- oxidizingbacteria—AOB,nitrite-oxidizingbacteria—NOB,anddenitri?ers—DEN),andtheirrelationshipwithphysical-chemical andagronomicsoildescriptors,inSolanumphurejarhizosphericsoilsamples,fromtraditionalandorganiccropmanagement farms.Aclusteranalysiswiththephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofsoil,allowedtoidentifytheorganicmattercontentasan importantfactorthatdeterminestheoutcomeofthatgrouping.Signi?cantdi?erences(P 0.05)betweenfarmswerefoundin theabundanceofthisgroups,butcorrelationanalysisshowedthatproteolyticandnitrogen?xingbacteriawerethemainnitrogen associatedfunctionalgroupsa?ectedbysoils’physical-chemicalcharacteristics.Theamountofammoniaavailableisa?ectedby theagriculturalmanagementstrategy,whichconsequentlya?ectstheNFBabundance.FinallytheresultsshowedthatPR,protease activityandsoilpropertiesrelatedwithorganicmattertransformationhasapositiverelationshipwithproductivity,whichgiventhe highorganicmattercontentoftheAndeansoilsbeingstudie
