TheSchi?basesHL1?3havebeenpreparedbythereactionof5-bromothiophene-2-carboxaldehydewith4-amino-5-mercapto-3- methyl/propyl/isopropyl-s-triazole,respectively.Organosilicon(IV)andorganotin(IV)complexesofformulae(CH3)2MCl(L1?3 ), (CH3)2M(L1?3)2weresynthesizedfromthereactionof(CH3)2MCl2andtheSchi?basesin1:1and1:2molarratio,whereM=Si andSn.ThesynthesizedSchi?basesandtheirmetalcomplexeshavebeencharacterizedwiththeaidofvariousphysicochemical techniques like elemental analyses, molar conductance, UV, IR, H, C, Si, and Sn NMR spectroscopy.
