Attempts to remove As by using orthodox medicines have mostly been unsuccessful.Apotentizedhomeopathicremedy,ArsenicumAlbum-30,wasadministeredtoagroup ofAsaffectedpeopleandthereaftertheAscontentsintheirurineandbloodwereperiodicallydeterm- ined.Theactivitiesofvarioustoxicitymarkerenzymesandcompoundsintheblood,namelyaspartate aminotransferase,alanineaminotransferase,acidphosphatase,alkalinephosphatase,lipidperoxidation andreducedglutathione,werealsoperiodicallymonitoredupto3months.Theresultsarehighlyencour- agingandsuggestthatthedrugcanalleviateAspoisoninginhumans.
