According to the literature survey, C. asiatica (gotu kola) has been reported to have a comprehensive neuroprotection by di?erentmodesofactionsuchasenzymeinhibition,preventionofamyloidplaqueformationinAlzheimer’sdisease,dopamine neurotoxicityinParkinson’sdisease,anddecreasingoxidativestress.Therefore,C.asiaticacouldbesuggestedtobeadesired phytopharmaceuticalwithneuroprotectivee?ectemergedfromtraditionalmedicine. 1.Introduction existintheEuropeanPharmacopeia,CommissionEofthe GermanMinistryofHealth,andWorldHealthOrganization (WHO)[4].Inadditiontoneuroprotectivee?ectofC.asi- atica,ithasbeenreportedtoownawiderangeofbiological activitiesdesiredforhumanhealthsuchaswoundheali
