Casereportofan81-yearoldpatient HansB?smüller1*,ChristineGruber1,SophieHaitchi-Petnehazy1,DietmarWagner2,GeraldWebersinke3and SteffenHauptmann4 Abstract Primaryangiosarcomaoftheovary(AS)isarareentitywithonly31reportedcases.Themajorityarepure angiosarcomas,theremainderareassociatedeitherwithteratomasorconventionalepithelialtumors.Morethan 50%ofovarianASaredisseminatedatthetimeofdiagnosis,theminorityisdetectedinstageI.Theprognosisof ovarianangiosarcomaingeneralispoor.Mostreportsrefertoyoungerindividuals,agedfrom7to46years,and only2casereportscouldbefoundforpatientsolderthan64years.Herewepresentaveryunusualcaseof angiosarcomaina81-year-oldpatient. Background andcomputedtomographyrevealed ahugecysticmass Primaryangiosarcomas(AS)oftheovaryareraremalig- oftherightovary.Therewerenosignsofdistanttumor nancies.Approximately25%ofthemareassociatedwith deposits.
