Thesamestrategycanbeusedinarti?cialsystemsthathavetoprocessvast amounts of sensory data with limited resources. In this paper we present a neuromorphic VLSIdevice,the“SelectiveAttentionChip”(SAC),whichcanbeusedtoimplementthese modelsinmulti-chipaddress-eventsystems.Wealsodescribeareal-timesensory-motorsys- tem,whichintegratestheSACwithadynamicvisionsensorandaroboticactuator.Wepresent experimentalresultsfromeachcomponentinthesystem,anddemonstratehowthecomplete systemimplementsareal-timestimulus-drivenselectiveattentionmodel.
