Abstract: This paper analyzes in the investigation of China’s current status of vocational college students party-building work, characteristics and problems, based on the proposed higher vocational college students to create a new situation of party-building work ideas and measures.

From the recently concluded work of party building assessment of colleges and universities in Hunan Province, also reflect the existence of vocational college students lack of party-building work.

1, the students too few number of party members, the ratio is low, unevenly distributed. According to statistics, the proportion of the national university students and 8% of party members, party members and university students in Hunan compared to 4.99%.
