[Abstract] Based on the analysis of college English teaching requirements, this paper discusses the importance of three relationships: I have heard and reading, writing and translation of the relationship; lay a solid foundation and improve the language and cultural qualities relations; classroom teaching in the process of teacher-student relationship. The purpose is to contribute to the holistic development of students.
I. Introduction
University undergraduate teaching English is a very important basic course, after 20 years of teaching reforms have achieved remarkable results. This is reflected not only in each year through four, six significant increase in the number of examinations, and language ability of students indeed greatly improved. But the rapid social and economic development of the requirements of English proficiency of university students look at the current college English teaching is also evident there are some problems.
