Abstract: Junior English for China, and Go for It! People’s Education Press in cooperation with foreign publishing groups prepared two sets of junior high school English textbooks. In this paper, the basis for the preparation of textbooks, language differences, the structure of textbooks and teaching methods, and several other areas on the similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks to make some analysis and comparison. Introduction
