Usually we wrote a message in the web, in which it mentioned that we need some subjects (what kind of subjects, for example, subjects from north of China) to complete a psychological experiment (what kind of experiment, for example. reaction time, or ERP), and will pay the amount of money (10-15 Chinese dollars per hour for RT experiment, 50 Chinese dollars each time for ERP experiment). Volunteers can contact with us if they would like to participate in it. We will explain more details when they come to the lab through an introduction. They can select if they would like to do it. If one study consists of more than one experiment, or consists of pretest and formal experiment, we usually record subjects names in a list, in case they will participate twice in the same study.
