从ASTD年会看中国培训业的差距（Looking at the gap of Chinas training industry from ASTD annual meeting） In mid-May 2010, I attended the ASTD2010 International Conference and exhibition with the delegation of the Motorola University (China) organization. What I saw and heard during the meeting, and the feelings I had triggered, have been haunting me for more than two months. Here, share these experiences and thoughts and hope to be helpful to Chinas training industry peers. Discover the value of you: ASTD2010 year International Conference and Exhibition Sketch ASTD (American Society for Training Development) was founded in 1943 as the worlds largest association for professional learning and performance professionals. ASTD member from more than 100 countries, through the United States over 130 local chapters and 30 international partners, members in thousands of different sizes of organizations and government agencies as consultants and provide training. The annual ASTD International conference is a grand gathering of peer exchange and learning in the global training industry. The meeting aims to help participants understand the latest trends in international training and development, industry best practices, and the latest products of world-class training providers. To date, 60 sessions have been held. The 2010 ASTD International Conference was held May 16-19th in Chicago, USA. The General Assembly theme is: Discover the value of You (Findyourvalue). More than 9,000 training experts from more than 70 countries in the world attended the meeting. The 4-day conference organized 350 lectures and network meetings on 5 major topics, such as talent development, training solutions, training design and coaching, learning techniques and personal development. Speakers were from 30 countries. Two keynote speakers Daniel. Pinker, Charlie. Lee is the most influential best-selling author in the United States, and they share a new perspective on the combination of the forefront of ideas and trai
