Chemical principle The third chapter is the mechanical separation of heterogeneous phase systems Verse 1 Summary Depending on the degree of dispersion between the components, the mixture can be divided into two broad categories: homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures. The heterogeneous mixture by continuous and dispersed phase is composed of two parts: the former refers to the dispersion in a material, such as solid particles, dispersed in fluid droplets or bubbles; the latter refers to the surrounding material dispersed in a fluid and continuous state, such as gas gaseous heterogeneous material system of non liquid homogeneous system of continuous liquid etc.. This chapter deals with the mechanical separation of heterogeneous mixtures.
