Methods Ei ght pati ents suffered fro m extre mity trauma under went angi ography . T wo of the m were wit h massive bl eedi ng i ncidental and all cases presented ischae mia i n so me degree . Endovascul ar t herapies i ncl udi ng emboliza- tion , t hro mbolysi s and stent placement were perf or med i n 7 patients . Results Lesi on characteristics of artery l eakage , pseudoaneurys m , thro mbosis or artery i nti ma l aniate were exactly proved by angiographic fi ndi ngs . Three cases of pseudoa- neurys m were treated s uccessf ully wit h e mbolization therapy by usi ng gelf oa m and spri ng coil . Inci dental bl eedi ng st opped i mmediately . Thro mbolysis got a satisfactory result i n 3 cases of thro mbosis . A l ocal i nti ma i nj ury was treated by stent pl ace ment procedure after thro mbolysis . In a severe l eg da mage wit h poplitea artery t hro mbosi s , vessel rupt ure was recog- nized as t he ori gi nal lesi on vi a thro mbolysis and fi nally lead t o a mputation . A case of angiographic proved fe moral arteri ove- nous fist ula received surgi cal treat ment . Conclusion Co mbi ned i nterventional therapy i s safe and effective for artery i nj u- ri es i n
