ABSTRACT
Betulinic acid is a known natural product which has gained a lot of attention in the recent years since it exhibits a vari-
ety of biological and medicinal properties. This review provides the most important biological properties of betulinic
acid.

1. Introduction Betulinic acid was isolated from the MeOH extract of
the aerial part of Vietnamese Orthosiphon stamineus and
Betulinic acid, (3β-hydroxy-lup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid)
