Objective: To determine the level of physical activity and the presence of depression, as well their relationship with body mass index in patients. Methods: In the family medicine clinic, within the pilot study, in the first half of 2010 year, through the Interview with 141 patients, the following questionnaires were completed: International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). The data were processed according to the instructions for questionnaires for PHQ-9 and IPAQ. The patients underwent measurements of blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol levels in blood and body mass index (BMI).
