NEW TOWN A NEW DEVELOPMENT DIRECTION OF TOWN IN PERAL RIVER DELTA 广东省城乡规划设计研究院专业论文 ABSTRACT Since the adoption of the opening policy towns in Peral River Delta have been quickly developping and they have been important base of constructing global workshop and key tache of urbanization in this area. But it is diffcult for these towns to optimize industry structureto prevent ground from being exploited out-of-orderly and to provide local resident with essential infrastructure. The conflict are essential causation of bringing these problems that come from between rural collective ownship and renewal of development drive between rural planning management and development model transferingbetween finance purview and administration purview. Actually central town policy can not commendably settle them. Constructing new town becomes a new innovation direction of town in this area. In the future it is necessary to actively cultivate characteristic service center and to build new city government on the base of existing central town and professional town by extending spatial extension of central townby integrating industric park and by adjusting administrative demarcation such as incorporating some towns
