中国医学影像技术2008年第24卷第7期 Chin J Med Imaging Technol，2008，VoI 24,No 7 · 1O29 · ● ．．’胸部影像学 Quantitative study on difference of airway wall thickness between bronchial asthma and COPD assessed by high-。resolution CT XIN Xiao—yan ，HE Wen“ ，TAN Chun—ting。 (1．Department of Radiology，Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School，Nanjing 210008，China；2．Department of Radiology，3．Department of Respiration，Beijing Friendship Hospital， Capital Medical University，Beijing 100050，China) [Abstract]Objective To assess the difference of airway wall thickness between asthma and COPD by HRCT and prelimi— narily evaluate the difference of airway wall remodeling between them．Methods HRCT were performed in 35 asthmatic pa— tients，30 COPD patients and 20 healthy subjects．We measured total airway diameter(D)and lumen diameter(L)of upper lobe apical segmental bronchus of right lung，then calculated the airway wall thickness(T)，wall thickness to airway diame— ter ratio(T／D)，airway 1umina1 area(A1)，airway wal1 area(WA)and the percentage of airway wal1 area to tota1 airway cross sectional area(WA )．The difference of these quantitive parameters(T／D，A1，WA，WA )were analyzed by ANOVA from Statistica1 Package for the Socia1 Science(SPSS)software．Results T／D，WA，WA of asthma group and COPD group were significantly higher than that of healthy subjects group(PO．05，P0．05，P0．05)．While A1 had no significant difference between asthma group and healthy subjects group(P0．05)and A1 of COPD group was lower than that of healthy subjects group(PO．05)．T／D，WA had no significant difference between asthma group and COPD group
