(It is a very important job for us to help the students feel familiar with the topic of the unit.) 2. I will help the students focus on the subjects and the after-school activities by asking some questions: (1) What subjects does John/Nancy have at his school? (2) What did they do during their free time? Step 2 Looking ahead Inform the students with what they are going to learn in this period.
