The new recruits, as a dynamic team, is the effective strength of the police force, but also needs to face mental issues like the divide feeling when there is a gap between ideal and reality, anxiety caused by intensive work and psychological stress response due to major events during work.This thesis analyzes subjective reasons, such as maladjustment during role transition and personal issues, and objective causes like insufficient mental examination during recruitment and incomplete psychological training mechanism and aims to reduce mental health issues among the new recruits of the police force, strengthen and improve the construction of public security forces. Actions like giving strict mental examination during recruitment, establishing physical and mental health personal files, popularizing mental health knowledge and making life and career plans should be taken.
