There are several methods to detect the human body movement. Among them is the implementation of linear accelerometers, which are micro inertial sensors, on the human body. Base on theory of Rigid Body Accelerometry, the linear displacement can be obtained from the measuring accelerations. In addition, the location of sensors, the number of sensors, the price of the system, and the reliability of the system are all needed to be considered in he project. Finally, the human movement information is expected to output as a digital format and implement into the virtual reality. In order to obtain more accurate results, the sensor calibration and signal analysis are needed. The pendulum will be utilized to calibrate the micro inertial accelerometer. The rotation angle from the potentiometer and the acceleration from the additional mechanical accelerometer will be used to verify the results. On the other hand, the signal analysis will
