AN INTERVIEW WITH LOWELL B. MASON
The Hon. Lowell B. Mason, a practicing lawyer. has been an insider in
government circles most of his life. His father was United States Senator
William E. Ivrason; his sister, the first Congresswoman from Illinois; and he
himself served in the Illinois State Senate for eight years. Since then he
has served as legal counsel to two United States Senate Subcommittees. His
speciality is business law.

Though of opposite political creed, he was a long time personal
friend of Senator Harry Truman. Both were ardent Washington baseball
