One must go out of ones way to be kind to peoplewhetheritbeanenemyorabestfriend. The people I like the most all have this trait in common.They listen without judging you and truly care about what you are saying.Another law is to not put life into a too-perfect monotonous script. Spontaneity and the ability to try new things can apply to many aspects of life. 　　One great example regarding the first law is the father of a friend of mine.He had a chronic heart problem caused by his involvement in the Vietnam War.The first time I met him, I real- ized what a good-natured and genuine person he was. He always kept a smile on his face.Within a year of moving here, he knew every person in his sons class and had something good to say to everyone.When his condition worsened, he kept on giving to people.His gifts were not in the literal sense but in that he complimented people,and continued to raise others spirits.Not thinking about his physical limitations, he tried to make the best of his situation. Beneath the exterior of a frail man with a heart pump was a man who was young at heart and supported everyone. I remember that at his sons birthday party he came outside despite the cold.He made an effort to greet everybody and asked to be updated on our lives without mention of his own.Though he knew his chances to live a long life were slim, he put aside his personal concerns and gave himself in full to others.His decision to enjoy life actively and encourage others rather than watch it pass by shows courage and strength.This also shows how such a law can be so essential.Luckily, he has had a successful transplant since then.It is this selfless honesty and compassion for people that I truly respect.I know that anyone who knows him feels t
