AbstractWiththehigh-speedingdevelopmentofeconomy,ourmodernizationconstructionontrafficisstrongerandstronger,aswellasthetechnologyofbridgeconstruction,emergingmanynew-stylebridgestructureforms,thehorizontalwidthofbridgeisincreasing,whichcausedhigherdemandingonprojectdesign.Cantileversingle-roombroadboxgirdersectionsisawidelyusedcross-sectionalformoncurrentbridge,especiallyusedattheurbantrunkroadsuchashighwayandbridge.Ithasexcellentstructuralstressperformance,butwithdisadvantagesoflargeabdominalplatespacing,widerhorizontallyflange,thinnerboxwallandsoon.Whendesignforit’sstructure,themechanicalperformanceofthin-walledboxgirderstructurewallisusuallycomplicated,exceptfortheshear,itwillalsoassociatedwithreversewarping,distortiononthecross-section.Giventheparticularityofthesingle-boxmulti-roomwidthboxframe,theexistingtheoryforsingle-boxsingleroomboxframeisnotabletocalculateeffectively,thereforeit’snecessaryforfurtherstudy,tofindacalculationmethodwhichsuitableforsingle-boxmulti-roomwidthboxframe.Whenitcomestoanalysistheconstructionofwideboxgirder,skewbridge,curvedbridgeandsoon,grillagemethodisaeffectivespaceanalyticalmethodforbridgeconstruction,whichusuallyusedoncurrentdesignandscientificresearch,iteasiercontrol,canguaranteeaenoughaccuracyondesign,amongthemthemostadoptedmethodisshear-flexiblegirdermethod.Establishinganequivalentgrillagesystemtosimulatebridgeupperstructure,havingtheadvantagesofwideapplicablecondition,highcomputationalefficiency,reasonableaccuracy,alsotheoutputmeetsthecurrenthighwaybridgedesignstandard,whichwillbewidelyusedinfuturepracticalengineering.Thisarticlefirstlydescribesthedevelopmentofwideboxgirderbridgeathomeandabroad,discussestheapplicablescope,advantagesanddisadvantagesseparatelyforeachresearchmethod,clarifiestheideathatgrillagemethodisaeffectiveIIanalyticalmethodforanalysiswideboxgirderbridge;Thenintroducesfiniteelementunitanalysismethodforspaceframe,considerssixfreedomdegreeforeachnodeofspaceframeunit;Hasadiscussionfocusingonthebasicmethodofusing
