摘要五月诗社是新加坡当代一个面向现代诗人的同仁诗社，自成立以来，为推广和繁荣新加坡的诗歌及文艺事业做出了杰出的贡献。与此同时，五月诗社诗人们的诗有着丰厚的内蕴，既有对传统文化的体认，又有对现实、社会、人生的关怀，同时也不乏西方现代诗的技巧，体现着独特的审美趣味，有着极其重要的研究价值。一个时代有一个时代的文学，五月诗社在不同时期亦有不同的创作流向。本论文在梳理五月诗社基本资料的基础上，重点探讨五月诗人们随时代的变化而变化的创作风格。本论文共分为绪言、主体、结语及附录四部分。其中绪言部分介绍了本选题及五月诗社的情况，附录部分补充了诗社成员的小传等信息；第一、二、三章将分别探讨其20世纪60年代至70年代中期、70年代中期至80年代中期、以及80年代中期以来三个阶段的创作风格。虽然“五月诗社”成立于1978年，但是，五月诗社的前行代诗人早在60年代就已经登上了诗坛。这一时期，其创作主题多表现为对自我心灵的沉迷和对外在世界的疏离；在艺术上借鉴西方理论，追求现代的诗艺。总体呈现出“现代主义”的创作风格。随着20世纪70年代新加坡诗坛“现代”与“现实”的合流，五月诗人结合自己国家的实际，诗笔在追求自我之外更多地转向了外在的乡土、人生，充满了现实主义精神和人文关怀，情感深沉。他们这一时期的诗歌创作集中体现在对文化乡土的想象和对新加坡本土的抒写两个精神向度上。到了20世纪80年代尤其是80年代中后期以来，随着经济的发展，新加坡进入后工业社会，文学呈现出多元化倾向。在多元化的文学倾向中，对庸常生活的观照成为五月诗社这一阶段创作的重要流向。关键词：新加坡五月诗社；现代主义；现实关怀；日常生活审美化AbstractBeingoneofSingaporescontemporarycolleaguesforthemodernpoets,theMayPoetrySocietyhasmadeanoutstandingcontributionforthepromotion,prosperityofSingaporeandtheartofpoetryeversinceitsinception.TheMaypoetryhasrichconnotations,includingrealizationofthetraditionalculture,caresofthereality,society,andlife.Meanwhiletheirworksshowwesterntechniquesofmodernpoetryandembodyauniqueaesthetictaste,whichareofextremelyimportantresearchvalue.Everyerahasaliteratureofitsown.Maypoetryvarieswiththetimesintermsofcreationstyles.WhilesortingoutthebasicinformationoftheMaypoetry,thethesisfocusesitsattentiononcombingcreationstylevarietiesofMaypoetryindifferingages.Therearefourchaptersinthisthesis,includingintroduction,mainbody,conclusionandappendix.ThefirstchapterisanoverallintroductionofthisthesisandtheMayPoetrySociety;theappendixcomplementsthemembersofthesesocietiesbiographyandotherinformation;TherestchapterswillexplorerespectivelythecreativestylesoftheMaypoetrywithinthreeperiods,namelythesixtiestothemid-seventiesinthe20thcentury,themid-seventiestomideightiesinthe20thcentury,andsincethemid-eighties.AlthoughtheMayPoetrySocietywasestablishedin1978,butthefirstgenerationofMaypoetshadmadeitsfirstappearanceasearlyas1960s.Duringthisperiod,theircreationthemesaremainlycharacterizedasself-indulgenceandspiritua
